Blue Demon True Flex 2.4mm bendable tungsten

It is a great choice for applications with difficult torch angles and tight spaces. It works well on both AC and DC current, starts easily, re-starts easily, and has excellent arc stability. This electrode also works on both transformer and inverter power sources. Can be identified by a light blue tip color. To maintain proper gas coverage you may have to increase your CFH. A bend of greater than 20 degrees is possible but not recommended.

A great alternative to radioactive 2% thoriated tungsten, this formula has been proven to dramatically increase weld quality and service life by offering unsurpassed stability and consistency in every weld. It is non-thoriated, non-radioactive, and non-carcinogenic.

It is a proprietary product containing multiple additives of rare earth oxides. Contains 1.80-2.20% proprietary blend of one or more of the following oxides: CeO2, La2O3, ThO2, ZrO2, & Y2O3.

Being non-radioactive, it is a popular replacement to thoriated tungsten. True Flex tungsten can be used for both DC and AC applications.
